The Foundry

Hey folks! This took an unreasonable amount of time to get done. I’ve returned to my roots for an easy project with a conversion of a Pathfinder prestige class. Writing it out was pretty simple, but it took forever to get with my brew buddy to get it looked at due to some unfortunate circumstances that I won’t elaborate on for privacy reasons. But then it took even longer to get the final formatting done because I had trouble sourcing appropriate artwork. And in general, I just haven’t had any gumption whatsoever to get anything done. I don’t know why, it’s really upsetting, and I’m not sure what to do about it. I think I just need to power through it.

But that’s enough complaining. I’ve started doing some things with this release that I should have started long ago. First thing is, I started putting what class the subclass is for within the document itself, which is insane that it took me this long to do. This is one of those things that I naively thought it was clear enough just from context, but there has been confusion in the past as to what goes with what, so I figured I better start doing it. I’ve started doing something like that for the posts on my website, and I want to continue doing it wherever possible. I’ve also started being a little more explicit in my credits as to where I draw inspiration from. Most of my work is conversions of other properties and works, so I felt I should be better about calling attention to the source.
