Hey folks! I was hoping to have a completely different project to show off today, something I’ve been working on for months (patrons know what I’m on about), but my plans fell through in about the hardest way possible. Without going into too much detail, the stress of work, doing something WAY outside my comfort zone, and losing a family pet put me in not a great mental place. As a result, I lost all faith in the project as it currently is so I scrapped it until I can figure out just what the Hell I want to do with it.
So in the meantime, I thought I’d take a gander at reworking another of my older projects. Warframe had a pretty major update recently that reworked their Eximus units to be both stronger and easier to pick out in a crowd. So I’ve given my old brew the same treatment.
Clearly I was in desperate need of a break because I can’t even begin to tell you how good it feels to just work on something simple and release it. This came together pretty quickly and I’m honestly really happy with where it is now. I love the new Eximus rework we got and I think I did a pretty good job capturing the changes. And since I’ve started playing Warframe again, I definitely think I want to start working on more conversions. I’ve had my eye on a few frames and have been thinking about a system for companions, so lots of fun stuff to work on!
